Wolfpack ITS is a dynamic and innovative managed IT service provider specializing in offering tailored IT solutions, website redesign, SEO, and branding services, particularly for accounting and law firms. The company’s mission is to enhance the digital presence and operational efficiency of its clients through cutting-edge technology and design strategies.
During my tenure, I took on the roles of UX/UI Designer and Marketing.
The original design was functional but lacked the visual impact and modernity that we wanted to convey. I introduced a sleek, minimalistic design that reflected our brand’s sophistication and forward-thinking approach.
Before: The previous business card featured a standard layout with heavy text and outdated color schemes, failing to stand out or reflect our brand's identity.
After: The new design was minimalistic, with clean lines, modern typography, and a focus on visual balance. It effectively communicated our brand's professionalism and innovation.
Following the success of the business cards, I was tasked with redesigning the landing page of our website. The goal was to improve user engagement and better reflect our brand identity.
Before: The landing page was bland, alignments were not correct, and was presented in a very boxy layout. Navigation was not intuitive, and most importantly, no call to action buttons. Overall user experience was suboptimal.
After: I designed a streamlined, full-screen landing page with a clear hierarchy of information. The new layout emphasized key services, strong and clear calls-to-action, all while enhancing visual appeal with high-quality images and modern design elements.
The redesign efforts extended beyond the landing page to other critical pages on our website, such as service pages, case studies, and the contact page.
Before: These pages suffered from the same issues as the landing page—cluttered layouts, inconsistent branding, and poor user experience.
After: I applied consistent branding across all pages, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience. The designs were updated to be more visually appealing, with improved readability and easier navigation.
As part of our marketing strategy, I also overhauled our email marketing templates to improve engagement rates.
Before: The original email designs were text-heavy with minimal visual elements, and no calls to action, leading to lower engagement and click-through rates.
After: The new designs featured a balanced mix of text and visuals, with a clear call-to-action. I incorporated responsive design techniques to ensure that emails looked great on all devices, resulting in a significant increase in open rates and click-throughs.
The redesigns and marketing efforts had a measurable impact on our digital presence:
Total emails sent: 12,871
Opened emails: 4,260
Percentage of opens: 33.09%
Bounced emails: 575
Percentage of bounces: 4.47%
Clicks (to the website): 572
Percentage of clicks from total sent: 4.44%
Percentage of email opens resulting in website visits: 13.43%
This experience taught me the importance of leaving a great first impression from moment a client see the company material, whether that be a business card, a website or an email. Especially in a start up setting. By blending my skills in design and marketing, I was able to contribute to Wolfpack ITS by increasing engagement. The ability to see a project from conception through to execution not only reinforced my design skills but also deepened my understanding of how design impacts business outcomes. Moreover, this experience underscored the importance of continuous learning and the willingness to take on new challenges.
